EARL MANN’S BUG-SHOP

 

Thank you for visiting this site representing Earl Mann’s Bug Shop. My name is Rick Mann, and I am the son of the company’s founder, Earl Ray Mann. I’m also the Manager/co-owner of the shop. My dad started working on Volkswagen engines 40+ years ago on the patio of his home and the business has evolved to a 10,000 square foot full-service family-run, restoration and repair operation.  My father began offering total VW restorations in the late 70′s.  The company has evolved to include full service and repair on all late model VW’s as well as the air-cooled classics.  We keep a large inventory of air-cooled and water-cooled parts and have overnight access to most items not in stock.  The business currently employs seven individuals  which includes me, and my two brothers; Steven and Jeffery.  Steven is our paint and body specialist and Jeffery is support staff.  My mother, Sue. also has a function within the business as our bookkeeper and Notary Public.  My sister, Melissa, also works part-time as bookkeeper, assisting our mother.  As you can see, it truly is a family-run business.

At the Bug Shop, we have been recognized for our quality of work by being selected by Pepsi-Cola to create the Mug Root Beer VW’s for their Mug Root Beer Campaign. We’ve also had many cars featured in Hot VW magazine, and have had many car show trophy winners.  Our restorations are designed to be daily drivers with show car quality.
